Micro-Grants open!

SEPT. 15 2023 — As part of Fierté Canada Pride’s “Strengthening Relationships & Connections Between Rural Prides” project, funded by WAGE, applications opened September 15 2023 for the second round of the 2023-2024 FCP Micro-Grants. Applications are due October 15 2023.

From the 2 rounds of total applications, $100,000 will be distributed through two streams to Prides across the country: a stream for Rural and Remote Prides; and an Anti-racism & Reconciliation stream for all small and medium-sized Prides.

A total of $60,000 will go towards the Rural and Remote stream, supporting projects of Pride organisations based in rural and remote areas. Urban Prides that meet the general eligibility criteria and want to do a project supporting rural & remote Prides may apply as well.

The remaining $40,000 will be awarded to any small or medium-sized Pride organisation that meets the general criteria of the FCP Micro-Grants and whose project is focused on anti-racism and reconciliation.

Based on needs and interest, these micro-grants will range from $500 to $10,000 each to Pride that has an operating budget of under $200,000 per year. Our goal is to provide resources to Prides less likely to receive funding from larger pots.
