Fierté Canada Pride Announces their Preferred Resources Partnership with Avid Group

MAY 24 2023  |  VANCOUVER, BC - Fierté Canada Pride (FCP) today announced a Preferred Resources Partnership with Avid Apparel, a division of Avid Group, that will offer exclusive partnership pricing of Avid Apparel’s products and design services, and made it available for FCP member organizations.

“With the launch of our new website, one of our targets for 2023 is to compile and produce an FCP member-exclusive database highlighting queer-owned and queer- and ally-operated Canadian companies.” says Chris Kennedy, Board Communications Director for FCP.  “We learned about Avid Group through one of our other partnerships earlier this year, and we’ve been working with Ephram [Chaplick] and the Avid team on this partnership ever since.”

Avid is a full service end-to-end apparel provider offering high quality custom apparel design, production, manufacturing, and distribution across Canada.  They work with organizations and businesses such as the Girl Guides of Canada, Mark’s, Big Rock Brewery, McMaster University, and many more.

Through this partnership, FCP-member Pride organizations will have preferred pricing of a specially curated group of apparel pieces that can be customized for their pride festival events.  This partnership then allows those member Pride organizations to maximize their budget dollars, while utilizing Avid’s exceptional design and fulfillment capabilities.

“Avid Group's partnership with Fierté Canada Pride signifies their joint commitment to supporting 2SLGBTQIA+ communities across the country, harmoniously aligning with Avid Group's mission to elevate brands that excite and unite communities.” says Ephram Chaplick, Chief Operating Officer for Avid Apparel.

“With the addition of Avid to our Member’s Resources Database, FCP is meeting our mission values of offering support for all Pride organizations across Canada.” says Alessandro Iachelli, Executive Director of FCP.  “Our membership has asked for support in partnering with resource providers like Avid, and one of the several components that attracted us to Avid is that their product offering is scalable regardless of a Pride’s festival size and budget allowance.”
