Conference Scholarship Fund

Every year, Fierté Canada Pride awards scholarships to member Prides requesting assistance to attend the annual conference. The scholarship fund is supported by generous donations made by other members, our sponsors, and individual donation collected year round.

Because of COVID restrictions, we are planning on hosting a virtual 2021 conference, and will not be providing scholarships. (Because the conference will be very financially accessible!)

Application Deadline

All applications must be submitted by 11:59 pm (PST) on November 20, 2019.

Your organization must have a 2019 Membership and purchase a 2020 Membership by February 6, 2020, to be eligible.

Results

FCP will contact applicants on or shortly after November 27, 2019, with the results of their applications. Should a scholarship not be approved, the applicant will be provided an additional two weeks to register at the “Early Bird” rate.

Commitment

All successful applicants must be present at the start of the 2020 Annual General Meeting to receive their Scholarship funds. Failing this, the Applicant forfeits their application and will not be eligible to claim their funds.
