Fierté Canada Pride is currently monitoring the ongoing developments around COVID-19, the global responses by all governments, and the impact it is having on our communities.
The increasing spread of the Coronavirus / COVID-19 pandemic is likely to have a major impact on our 2SLGBTQIA+ communities including Pride events across Canada in 2020. Fierté Canada Pride is supporting its members by providing resources, sharing guidance, and collating information. FCP is also relying on and referring to resources being created/shared by its partner organizations including InterPride and the European Pride Organisers Association (EPOA) who have already developed several resources.
We recommend that all Pride organizers have contingency plans in place should there be a need to postpone or cancel their events, and also consider the impact that public concern about COVID-19 may have on volunteer recruitment, tourism, travel, and other factors.
Please contact Fierté Canada Pride to let us know if you are planning to cancel or postpone your upcoming pride festival.

Building business, and fuelling the engine through crisis
When: Postponed to: Wed. Apr 8, 2020 2:00 PM ET
Speakers: Carol Bartlett- She/Her, CEO, Sales Strategist
There are 2 things that CEOs must focus on during a time of business interruption in the wake of the COVID-19 crisis. We know an economic contraction is coming and in the face of this crisis, how can companies THRIVE? In times like these, the easy path to take is to get caught up in the negative energy. Yes, things are tough right now, however, there will be companies that thrive despite the constraints. Constraints can be used to your advantage with the right vision, drive and system.
In this seminar, we will share a system that can be leveraged to make a quantum leap. The fuel for your business are people in companies who have problems that need solutions. The issue for you is that most of these people do not know that you exist. This is the problem that you face.
In this seminar, we will share with you a system for bridging the gap from being an unknown entity to awareness. Prospecting with results. In this seminar, Carol will provide a real system that companies can use to generate revenue growth now. The seminar is delivered with interaction and questions throughout, and has a worksheet.
Note: This webinar was previously scheduled to take place on Tues. March 24 and was postponed to Wed. April 8, 2020.
