Call for Directors

Fierté Canada Pride is seeking nominations for its Board of Directors (BOD). Please find below the official Call for Directors which includes a summary of positions available, the nomination eligibility and requirements, and the election process.

Both the Director Nomination and Board Endorsement forms are to be submitted in person or by email to J. Andrew Baker (VP Governance) no later than Friday, February 9, 2018, at 12:00 pm MST for consideration.

Canada Pride Call for Bids

Fierté Canada Pride is now accepting bid proposals for the future host of the Canada Pride Festival between 2022 and 2024 (on any year that does not coincide with a WorldPride Festival).

Please download the bid proposal package to find important information regarding eligibility, hosting requirements, and deadlines. The “Letter of Intent” is due December 31, 2017, and Bid Packages are due January 26, 2018.

FCP Conference 2019 & 2020 Call for Bids

Pride organizations from across Canada are invited and encouraged to submit proposals to host either the 2019 or 2020 FCP Conference & AGM. As decided in 2017, FCP is moving to a two-year bidding format which will give future hosts more time to plan and organize a successful conference.

Note: applicants are not applying to host two years; we are opening the bids for both years and accepting separate applications for either 2019 or 2020.
